Former Iolan Becca Bacon Martin, Fayetteville, Ark., and Larry Len Brown, Fayetteville, exchanged wedding vows in a garden ceremony at 1:30 p.m. April 7 at the Jackson home near Beaver Lake, Lowell, Ark. Steven Boyd, Fayetteville, performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ruth J. Bacon, Fayetteville, and the groom is the son of the late Alfreda and Bill Brown, Humboldt.
Susan Jackson, Lowell, served as matron of honor. Pam Graney, Bella Vista, Ark., served as maid of honor, and Amanda Martin, daughter of the bride, Springdale, Ark., was the bridesmaid.
Wayne Sutton, Spring-dale, was best man. Groomsman was Mike Jackson, Lowell.
Mrs. Brown is a graduate of Iola High School and Allen Community College in Iola. She is a features editor for Northwest Arkansas Newspapers. Mr. Brown is a graduate of Parsons High School and attended Baker University in Baldwin City. He is retired from a career as a radiology technician.
The couple is planning a June honeymoon to New Orleans, La. The couple is at home in Fayetteville.
